The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Oil and Gas Management, maintains an excellent website that provides landowners with information about gas permitting, drill and production by county and municipality.
The site also provides important information such as names, addresses and activities of drilling/exploration companies.
All this information can be accessed from www.dep.state.pa.us/efacts/.
